Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to all paid subscriptions on Tutelync (tutelync.com) and any paid services offered by Glyphora (glyphora.in).
1. Tutelync Subscription Cancellation
1.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your Tutelync subscription at any time by:
- Going to Settings > Subscription & Billing > Cancel Subscription in your Tutelync dashboard.
- Contacting us at contact@glyphora.in.
- Sending a WhatsApp message to our support number requesting cancellation.
1.2 What Happens When You Cancel
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
- After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan.
- Features available only on paid plans (WhatsApp integration, parent portal, reports) will become inaccessible, but your data is preserved.
- You can export all your data (students, attendance, fees, results) before or after cancellation via the CSV export feature.
Your data is safe
We retain your data for 90 days after cancellation. During this period, you can reactivate your subscription and access all your data. After 90 days, data will be permanently deleted. If you need a data export, contact us before the 90-day period ends.
2. Refund Policy for Monthly Subscriptions
- Within 7 days of first payment: If you are a new subscriber and are not satisfied with Tutelync within the first 7 days, you may request a full refund. This applies to first-time subscribers only.
- After 7 days: Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. You may cancel anytime, but no partial refund will be issued for the remaining days in the current billing cycle.
- Auto-renewal charges: If you forgot to cancel before auto-renewal and have not used the service in the new billing period, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 48 hours of the charge.
3. Refund Policy for Annual Subscriptions
- Within 14 days of first payment: Full refund available for new annual subscribers who are not satisfied.
- After 14 days: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the annual period.
- No pro-rata refunds: We do not offer partial refunds for unused months in an annual plan.
4. Refund Policy for LMS Development Services
For custom LMS development and other project-based services:
- Refund terms are governed by the individual project agreement signed between you and Glyphora.
- Advance payments or milestone payments are generally non-refundable once the corresponding work has been delivered.
- In case of project cancellation by the client, payments for completed milestones are non-refundable.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction (via Razorpay).
- The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 5-7 additional business days).
6. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from a higher plan (e.g., Pro to Starter) mid-billing cycle:
- The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
- You continue to enjoy the higher plan's features until the current period ends.
- No refund is issued for the price difference between plans.
- If your current data exceeds the lower plan's limits (e.g., more students than allowed), you will be prompted to reduce usage or stay on the current plan.
7. Free Trial
Tutelync offers a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan for new users. No payment information is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan unless you choose to subscribe.
8. Exceptions
We may make exceptions to this policy in cases of:
- Extended service outage caused by our platform (not third-party services).
- Billing errors or duplicate charges.
- Documented technical issues that prevented you from using the service.
All exception requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
